Dublin indie-rocker ALKY – is back with a brand-new single “How Do You”

Dublin indie-rocker ALKY is back with a brand-new single “How Do You”. An acoustic ballad crafted with intimate string arrangements and female backing vocals.

ALKY says “How Do You is a reflection on intimacy and estrangement – capturing the disorientation of watching a fractured relationship slowly unravel”.

ALKY is an indie rock artist from Dublin, Ireland. His debut single in August 2024, ‘Dirty Tricks’ , introduced listeners to his signature style – an infectious blend of up-tempo rock and driving rhythms, juxtaposed with introspective lyrics and a baritone vocal style, exemplifying the indie rock genre.

His follow-up release in September 2024, ‘All Because of Love’ , further showcased ALKY’s ability to combine “feel good” rock with themes of melancholy and loss. The track was featured 2 weeks in a row on the prestigious RTE Radio 1 Recommends playlist.

Six singles followed, to bring us to his latest song, ‘How Do You?’. After making the finals of a Battle of the Bands competition to play in Malahide Castle in June 2025, his headline shows at Whelan’s and The Workman’s Club were immediate sell-outs. As he gears up for more live shows in 2025/26, fans can expect a thrilling experience filled with high energy and poignant moments, all underscored by heartfelt delivery.

ALKY’s debut album is expected in November 2025
