Dope Lemon – releases ‘Sugarcat’ single and new album has a release date for May

Dope Lemon—the award-winning project led by acclaimed Australian musician Angus Stone — releases their new single ‘Sugarcat’, the third from their highly-anticipated fifth album Golden Wolf,out 2 May. ‘Sugarcat’ follows previous album singles, including the title track ‘Golden Wolf’ and follow-up ‘Electric Green Lambo’.

To coincide with the release of ‘Sugarcat’, Dope Lemon also shares an accompanying music video.’ Speaking on the music video, Angus says: “The music video was super fun to make. It’s based on a diamond heist, with me ‘hopefully’ sailing off into the sunset with the stolen jewels. It’s a bit of fun.”

Crafted to pull listeners deeper into Dope Lemon’s immersive world, ‘Sugarcat’ represents a new sonic realm within the multilayered odyssey of Golden Wolf. As the third single from the album, it offers another glimpse into its evolving sound—one that effortlessly blends sophistication with carefree swagger.
