Norwegian singer – songwriter Dagny brought her pop based sounds to The Academy Dublin and delighted the mixed aged crowd with her synth pop/disco, Coming out on stage wearing an checkered outfit and a blast of energy that got the crowd going from the get-go. At one point leaving the stage to change outfits and she also left the stage at another point to get down into the crowd to sing a song with them, also a crowd member got a surprise as he had requested on Dagny’s Instagram that while she was in Dublin would she play ‘Used To You’ so during the show she mentioned it and decided to play it, ask was he at the show, which he was so she dedicated it to him.
Opening the night was up and coming indie/folk singer Odhran Murphy singing some country tinged tunes.
