CMAT – shares new single ‘The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station’ taken from upcoming album

CMAT today returns with new single The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station atranscendental new indie-krauty-campy-stomp that, on the surface, reads as a diss track to Jamie Oliver, but is in fact about the realisation that hatred serves no purpose to anyone. Got it?

It’s the third single to be taken from her new album EURO-COUNTRY – which is set for release on August 29. Recent single Take A Sexy Picture Of Me continues to blaze its own trail – thanks in part to a fan-created viral dance, dubbed ‘The Woke Macarena’. After reverberating around social media, with the likes of Julia Fox and Amelia Dimoldenberg showing off their skills, recent CMAT shows at the likes of Primavera, Wide Awake and Neighbourhood have seen thousands of fans doing both leg tings and hand stuff.

On The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station – CMAT says:

The whole point of the song is actually my annoyance and intolerance and hatred of other people serves absolutely no purpose in my life and is a really bad instinct that I have. So it’s actually a love song for Jamie Oliver, if you think about it. It’s me being like ‘don’t be a bitch and stop judging people for annoyances
