CMAT has been nominated for ‘International Artist Of The Year’ at The Brit Awards

CMAT has been nominated for ‘International Artist Of The Year’ at this year’s BRIT Awards – capping a wild 12 months for the Dublin-born, country-loving pop star. Her critically-acclaimed second album, ‘Crazymad, For Me’, was released last October on AWAL Recordings, and since then her popularity has exploded. Over the last few months she has performed on The Graham Norton show (4m+ views); Later… with Jools Holland and made the BBC’s ‘Sound Of 2024’ list; while at radio, she’s is currently on the B-list at both BBC Radio 1 (with ‘California’)  and 6 Music (with ‘Where Are You Kids Tonight?’, a duet with John Grant). The album secured CMAT her first UK charting album and a No1 in her native Ireland, where it has also been nominated for the prestigious Choice Award (after winning the same award in 2023 for ‘If My Wife New I’d Be Dead’).

Hi, it’s me, CMAT. I’ve been saying for years that I’m a global pop star and now it’s official! Thanks for the international artist of the year nomination!” – CMAT

The BRITs take place at The O2 in London on March 2nd, the night after CMAT performs a special BRITs War Child show at Bush Hall – which sold out in two minutes last week. Elsewhere on the live front, her May 16th show at London’s Kentish Town Forum sold out five months in advance. CMAT will also perform at the BBC 6 Music festival alongside Gossip on March 8th, before embarking on a run of EU and US dates this Spring. A massive Fairview Park headliner in Dublin this June, plus a string of UK, EU and US festival dates caps a busy period of touring for the first half of this year.
