CMAT sold-out not one, not two, but a staggering four! nights at Dublin’s 3Olympia and I was lucky enough to photograph night three (01.12.2023) The stage curtains were closed before her set as the stage was prepared and when they opened two of the band member’s were set each side on a flight of steps at the back, which ran up to a large mirror with throughout the set CMAT made good use of dancing in front of it during certain songs, sometimes with her back to the crowd so she was facing the mirror, other times facing the crowd. When she wasn’t using the mirror, she was either dancing wildly around the stage and other time trashing it out on her guitar like a lady possessed. At one point she pointed out that her dad was stand in the audience and started chatting with him, to which the crowd started chanting his name over and over, a funny point on this was that CMAT thought the crowd were booing him and said so and she thought she was going to have to go into the crowd and kill someone lol. CMAT wasn’t the only one to be dancing around the stage as certain band members took their turns to do at times. I could clearly see why she has managed to sell-out four nights in a row as she is a powerhouse and the blend of pop-country gets everyone in the room dancing.
