What was to be the last night of the Armageddon Tour – Europe 2024 (there was one date added later the 9th of June Nada Festival Portugal) at The Grand Social Dublin for Christian Death was two things.
One a blinding fantastic show, Two a dam hot and sweaty show, I had forgotten how hot it gets in The Grand Social this time of year as its an up stairs venue.
Anyway the band were in great form and gave one hell of a performance behind all the smoke and dark lighting which one would expect from the legendary American Godfathers of Gothic Rock.
Opening the night were a band to look out for and keep an eye on in the Irish Goth Rock/Dark metal scene and that being Mourning of the Heretic from Derry, who themselves gave a great show and done a good cover of ”Marian” by The Sisters of Mercy.
