Born At Midnite today share a Patrick Holland remix of recent single 69*– out today on Arbutus Records. Born At Midnite have been lauded by the likes of Clash, The Fader and Gorilla vs Bear, with the duo carving a niche playing those post-party hits. Their Alternity EP, released last year, won many new fans, with lead single Y o Y exploding on streaming services. Recent coverage has been abundant, with Exclaim!, The Line Of Best Fit, Radcliffe + Maconie and New Music Fix Daily supporting the duo.

Patrick Holland (fka Project Pablo), is a Canadian musician, producer, and DJ. His records “I Want to Believe” and “Closer”, helped define the sound of dance music in the 2010s. In addition to his vast catalogue, Holland has made a name for himself as a tastemaker and DJ, running imprints ASL Singles Club and SOBO as well as touring as TOPS’ live bassist in 2021/2022. 2023 saw Holland combine his knack for live instrumentation and songwriting with his signature dance music touch to produce a string of singles and EPs aimed at the dance floor and headphones alike.
Born At Midnite is the faux-vanity project of Amery Sandford and David Carriere. Jamming strictly ‘post-party’ with a finish line posture – either completing or scrapping a song in a single evening – the Montreal based duo began writing together in late 2018. Employing samplers, tape machines, and an extemporaneous approach to songwriting, the duo establish an eerily familiar atmosphere through an unpolished lens of thin ice. Playing into whilst poking fun at our era’s omnipresent narcissism and self-indulgence, the group stitch together an unsponsored sort of ‘product-placement-punk’.
Amery Sandford is a visual artist and the causal power-pop songstress of Alpen Glow. David Carriere is a producer, songwriter, and guitarist in the band TOPS, most recently working with Marci on her self-titled debut.
