Blue Deputy – announced details of their forthcoming EP ‘Reeling’ + release the single single ‘Agoraphobe’

Blue Deputy have today announced details of their forthcoming debut five-track EP ‘Reeling’ and shared new single ‘Agoraphobe’.

The ‘Reeling EP’ showcases the Belfast trio’s blend of melodic midwest emo and blissful moment
of gen-Z shoegaze, taking influence from Alvvays to Slow Pulp and underpinned by the band’s love of Indigo De Souza and The Beths.

Formed in 2020 in Philadelphia but since transplanted to Belfast as of 2022, Blue Deputy
began as a low-key bedroom-bound pandemic project which has grown to be so much more. Their
self-produced debut single “New Jersey” gained the project a cult following online, with fans
drawn to it’s sparse, beautiful melody and Andy Bunting’s crushing lyrical vulnerability.
