Blondshell – has announced a headline show for The Academy, Dublin

Blondshell has just announced a headline Academy, Dublin show for Thursday, 17th December 2026 as part of their ‘Scaring Strangers’ Tour. Joined by special guest Theatre.

Fresh off of its live debut at CoachellaBlondshell (Sabrina Teitelbaum) unveils a first taste of her next album with the release of ‘Heart Has To Work So Hard’, out today via Partisan Records. The track marks her first new music since the release of her critically acclaimed album If You Asked For A Picture and its companion release Another Picture (featuring Conor Oberst, Samia, John Glacier, Gigi Perez, and more) and coincides with the announcement of her biggest headlining shows to date this autumn.

‘Heart Has To Work So Hard’ is a kinetic, propulsive introduction to Blondshell’s most urgent songwriting to date. Opening with drums and bass locked in a locomotive pulse, the track builds with a relentless momentum as Blondshell’s cool, controlled monotone mimics the sound of an overworked heart. That driving mechanical tension surges into an instantly addictive chorus, where she pairs a standout vocal performance with the sharp turns-of-phrase that she’s become known for- a feral declaration on the fallout of a fraying friendship.

Accompanying the new single is the announcement of a major headline tour of North America and Europe/UK this fall, with the stateside dates kicking off October 14 in San Diego and concluding November 7 in Boston. Blondshell will headline her biggest shows to date including venues like The Wiltern in Los Angeles, where she will reunite with her “Docket” partner Bullyon October 16, followed by Terminal 5 in her hometown of New York City on November 6 and her biggest UK headline to date at The RoundhouseLondon in December.  Supporting Blondshell on select dates include Bully, Starcleaner Reunion, Prewn, TTSSFU, and Theatre.
