Blackout Problems and Lake Malice have released the video for their new single ‘Quicker Than Death’ out now via SO Recordings.
‘Quicker Than Death’ pairs the driving emotive electro-rock of the Munich trio Blackout Problems with the powerful metal riffs and soaring vocals from the Brighton duo Lake Malice. The song has been co-produced with Blackout Problems’ frontman Mario Radetzky and Lake Malice, finished with mixing and mastering by Enter Shikari’s Rou Reynolds.
Originally released at the end of September the track was selected as Track Of The Week on the BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock Show and also gained support from Kerrang, Rock Sound and more.
The new video has been filmed on the current RIOT Tour which has seen Blackout Problems and Lake Malice perform throughout Europe. The UK leg kicked off in Birmingham on Friday (Nov 8th) and will finish at Bristol’s Thekla on November 16th. Tickets are on sale now via http://www.blackoutproblems.com/
Regarding the new video Blackout Problems frontman Mario Radetzky says, “The RIOT Tour is in full swing, and we’re having an amazing time with our new friends Lake Malice. Every night, we’ve been performing our collaboration song, ‘Quicker Than Death’, across almost 10 countries so far.
Because we clearly didn’t have enough on our plates with the endless to-dos, soundchecks, and setups, we decided to shoot a music video for the song to make the most of our time on tour. Backstage rooms were quickly transformed into makeshift film studios with whatever we could find, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
A huge shoutout to Paul Ambrusch for capturing and editing our vision so perfectly. We hope you love the video as much as we loved making it!”
