Beth McCarthy – has announced ‘The Hot & Stupid Tour’ coming to The Academy Green Room, Dublin

York-born Beth McCarthy combines pop melody with a rock edge to tell the stories of a twenty-something trying to understand love, friendship, and the feelings that come with it. Taking influence from Miley Cyrus, Holly Humberstone and Avril Lavigne, Beth has a unique ability to draw in an audience with relatable and honest lyrics and powerfully raw vocals. She exploded on the internet in 2021 with hit single “She Gets The Flowers”, that gained over 25M streams. Her singles “What Do You Call It” and “She’s Pretty”, part of her upcoming EP ‘IDK How To Talk To Girls’, captured the attention of her 800k TikTok followers and tens of millions of views, proving nobody can get enough of Beth’s addictive pink personality and pop-rock anthems. Her title track “IDK How To Talk To Girls” is coming out on the 5th of January after over 2M views online, followed by her EP release in February and her biggest tour yet, singing around the UK and Europe in March 2024 will be full with “IDK How To Talk To Girls” EP release, followed by a UK+EU Tour.
