So where was my head at! It was at Fairview Park Dublin to catch Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe aka Basement Jaxx bringing their legendary euphoric energy-filled live experience to the masses and that they did is banging style.
Before the guys got to do their thing and as the tent steadily started to fill up, Dublin DJ and radio presenter Jenny Greene got the crowd in the dance mood by playing a fantastic set on the decks that kept they happy while waiting for the main act to hit the stage.
So nine o clock comes around and a head appears from a hole center stage (see photos) then two drummers take up positions and a guy on guitar, next two female vocalists at the back of stage appear and we are off, the beat hits and its euphoric dance mode for everyone in the tent.
The guys kept the beats going and matched with fantastic trippy visuals and dancers in some wonderful costumes the whole show wasnt only a feast for the ears but the eyes too and it got hot in the tent pretty quick.
These guys still have it and still know how to get the crowds dancing.
