Andy Fairweather Low – rescheduleds Irish tour for Nov & Dec 2026

ANDY FAIRWEATHER LOW will return to Ireland in November and December with his band The Low Riders for rescheduled tour dates in Dun Laoghaire, Cork, Belfast, Letterkenny, and Galway. Tickets are on sale now for all shows.

Andy Fairweather Low first came to prominence as the lead singer in Amen Corner. The 1960’s saw them clock up hit after hit with instantly recognizable songs including ‘Bend Me Shape Me’, ‘Hello Suzy’ and ‘(If Paradise is) Half As Nice’.  Born in the small town of Ystrad Mynach in South Wales, Andy’s star studded CV includes collaborations with a jaw-dropping array of legendary artists including Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, David Crosby, The Band, Elton John, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, The Who, BB King, Joe Cocker, Steve Winwood, Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, The Impressions, Lonnie Donegan, Mary J. Blige, Georgie Fame, Bonnie Raitt, Otis Rush, Van Morrison, Chris Barber, Jackson Browne, Bill Wyman, Sheryl Crow, Pete Townshend, Kate Bush – just to name a handful of the hundreds he has worked with.

Andy’s first solo album ‘Spider Jiving’ was released in 1974 followed by ‘La Booga Rooga’ (1975) — featuring the hit ‘Wide Eyed and Legless’.  Two more albums appeared in 1976 and 1980 followed by a 26 year hiatus.  ‘Sweet Soulful Music’ marked his return to recording in 2007, followed by 2008’s ‘The Very Best Of Andy Fairweather Low’ and accompanying live DVD.  In February 2025 ‘The Invisible Bluesman’ his 9th solo studio album was released on Blue Vinyl, CD & download and entered the Official UK charts at Number 1.  He has also released several Live Concert DVD’s and a three-disc Box Set DVD/Double Live CD which debuted in the Amazon Box Set Top 50 in its first week of release.

His long association with ERIC CLAPTON recently resulted in an invitation for Andy to perform as a featured artist at the 2023 Crossroads Guitar Festival in Los Angeles and again with his band The Low Riders to open the UK & Ireland leg of his 2024 tour & UK / European dates on his 2025 and 2026 tour.

On this tour, Andy will be joined by his band The Low Riders featuring: Andy Fairweather Low – Guitar & Vocals, Ian Jennings – Bass, Paul Beavis – Drums, Nick Pentelow – Tenor Sax / Baritone sax & Clarinet, Richard Milner – Hammond Organ & Backing Vocals, Pete Cook – Baritone Sax.
