Alternate indie/rock band Deadletter – release their new single, ‘It Comes Creeping’

Alternate indie/rock band DEADLETTER release their new single, ‘It Comes Creeping’, out now via So Recordings. ‘It Comes Creeping’ is the second single taken from the band’s upcoming sophomore album, Existence Is Bliss, following the release of the lead single ‘To The Brim’. Existence Is Bliss is set for release on Friday 27th February.

On ‘It Comes Creeping’ DEADLETTER deliver an exquisitely refined track, purveying aesthetics from across the alt, indie, and rock spectrum. As can be heard on the bands previous single, ‘To The Brim’, DEADLETTER have taken a sonic shift on ‘It Comes Creeping’, initiating a new era for the band. This new single explores a more sophisticated, genre-fluid sound which includes avant-guard woodwind and percussion that are fused together with influences from across the rock and indie spectrum. The production is sublime, with frontman Zac Lawrence’s raw vocals tying the track together. With the release of ‘It Comes Creeping’, DEADLETTER once again makes a statement, showcasing the lofty levels of what is to come from one of the UK’s most exciting new bands.

Speaking about ‘It Comes Creeping’, lead singer Zac Lawrence said:

“A spectre haunts us all. Your spectre may well be different from mine, from your mother’s, but we all feel the wrath of whatever shape this spectre takes in the same way. The message in this track is not about what which comes creeping, but the way in which it does so.”
