Rising Glasgow alt-pop trio Pistol Daisys today release their new single “Honey,” and its official video, paired with B-side “Wolves,” via OneRPM Records.
Built around shimmering synths and sharp-edged lyrics, “Honey” explores the unsettling reality of being the villain in a relationship—the person who crosses the line and leaves damage behind. Vocalists Belly and Lorna Lynn channel this twisted perspective into something darkly infectious, pairing disco-pop production with a raw confessional streak.
Co-written by Belly, Rachel Mutujal and Lorna Johnston, Belly explains, “Sometimes it’s easier to pretend you’re innocent. But we wanted to write about owning the part of you that can be selfish or reckless. ‘Honey’ is about knowing you’ve been the problem and still feeling drawn to the sweetness of it.”
The B-side, “Wolves,” continues this darker theme, shifting from regret to defiance as the narrator reclaims their power. Both produced by the band’s drummer Lewis Kelly, both tracks push the Pistol Daisys sound further into modern alt-pop while staying rooted in the duo’s love of classic hooks and honest storytelling.
“Honey” arrives ahead of the band’s debut EP, scheduled for release in October 2025, and a packed run of festival and European tour dates that will bring Pistol Daisys’ high- energy live show to audiences across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and the UK.
