Almost Monday / little image – The DIVE Tour live gallery & review from The Academy Greenroom, Dublin 29.03.25

Indie-pop trio Almost Monday brought the final show of the EU/UK DIVE tour to the academy green room this weekend. They lit up the intimate venue with a host of tracks from their 2024 album – including their biggest hits like “Can’t Slow Down” and “Sunburn”. Lead singer Dawson Daugherty made his presence known by leading with the confidence and presence he’s become known for – it is so much of exactly what makes an Almost Monday show so extraordinary. The band are more than just their feel-good Summer anthems – they’re an on-stage powerhouse.

little image opened the night with an incredible set that showcased old and new material. The recently released “RUN FOR FOREVER” went down a treat with the room.

The track tells the story of how life can make us feel – the endless search for meaning in a time limited world, with the pressure from our past and future selves convening on us over our heads. The final instrumental break, rolling bass line and “Run For Forever” refrain plunges us deep into the chase for our lives.

Other highlights of their opening set included “Blue” and the most popular, “Out Of My Mind”. The band found home in the academy green room where the tight walls and low light made for the perfect complement to their sound.

little image are a true talent, ready for the biggest stages. The self described “misfits” are destined to belong amongst the brightest names in their ranks.
