Best known to many as a celebrated actor across film and television, Alicia Witt is also a gifted singer-songwriter with a deeply personal and piano-driven sound. A classically trained pianist and former competitive player, Witt has carved a parallel path as a musician, earning praise for her raw, melodic songwriting and magnetic live performances.
Her latest release Witness (2023) is the culmination of years spent honing her craft, following the success of her 2021 album The Conduit, which featured the Top 30 Billboard AC Radio Chart single Chasing Shadows. Blending emotionally charged storytelling with bold pop sensibilities, her music has been described as ‘sharply personal, boldly melodic pop originals in the Carole King/Billy Joel vein’ and ‘touching lost-and-found love ballads’ (Philadelphia Inquirer).
Alicia has shared stages with the likes of Ben Folds Five, Rachel Platten, and Jimmy Webb, and has performed everywhere from intimate clubs to the Grand Ole Opry. Her 2018 album 15000 Days, produced by Grammy-winner Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Norah Jones), showcased her continued evolution as a songwriter and performer. Earlier work like Revisionary History, produced by Ben Folds, cemented her reputation for intelligent, emotionally resonant pop.
A familiar face to audiences worldwide from acclaimed roles in The Walking Dead, Nashville, Orange Is the New Black, and Twin Peaks, Witt’s film credits include Two Weeks’ Notice, Vanilla Sky, Mr. Holland’s Opus, and over a dozen beloved Christmas movies—many of which feature her own original music.
Whether on screen or behind a piano, Alicia Witt brings a rare depth of artistry, and her upcoming Dublin performance promises a night of beautifully crafted songs, intimate storytelling, and soul-stirring vocals.
