‘Rita’s Road’ named after my amazing grandmother Rita, is the first song I have ever released. I believe the best way to describe this song, would be through one of the lyrics. “Give her hope, that I’ll return before she grows old”. While writing the song in Australia, I became aware of the sad reality that although I had moved far away from home to start a new life. The people I loved were still living their lives in Ireland, just without me. The idea that I would miss amazing moments with the people I loved, moments I will never get back, was the inspiration for ‘Rita’s Road’. ‘
