Following the breakout success of their alt-pop anthems Fashion and Neon View, rising pop-rock heavyweights AFTERDRIVE have officially announced their highly anticipated debut EP, Dress To Drive, arriving on all major platforms on October 9th 2026 and the Dress To Drive UK Tour, with tickets on sale from tomorrow here.
The Dress To Drive Tour will see the British four-piece headline Baths in their hometown of Ipswich on September 19th, before kicking the rest off in Manchester on October 23rd then visiting Birmingham on October 24th and London on October 27th. Full dates are below. Tickets are on sale from tomorrow and AFTERDRIVE are giving fans a special gift to any fans who purchase tickets in the next 14 days. Anyone who buys tickets for the tour will be sent the closing track of their EP, the self-titled AFTERDRIVE (Outro), weeks before its release.
On top of the standard tickets, AFTERDRIVE have also announced a VIP package which on top of a ticket for the show, includes a signed, limited edition poster, a limited edition tour edition of the EP on CD, early entry to the venue with access to merch, a meet and greet with a photo opportunity, a VIP laminate and a vote to pick a song for the setlist.
Far more than just a collection of singles, Dress To Drive is a cinematic, four track EP. The record charts the psychological downward spiral of a protagonist chasing desire, image, and escape in a world where love feels disposable. Over four tracks, the narrative arc moves sharply from attraction to addiction, the pull from calm to recklessness and then ultimately loss.
The band recently unleashed their brand-new single, ‘Neon View’ and it’s been picking up an incredible amount of support across the UK’s tastemakers and radio. Alyx Holcombe continues her support of the band, playing the song on both her Radio 1 Indie Show and her BBC Introducing Rock Show. The song has also had great support from Jess Iszatt and their local BBC Introducing host, Angelle Joseph.
The arrival of the Dress To Drive EP announcement comes midway through a monumental year for the Suffolk-based outfit. AFTERDRIVE recently made a triumphant live appearance at Ipswich’s brand-new Halo Festival at Trinity Park, where they were chosen as one of the headliners. Sharing a festival bill with indie giants like Two Door Cinema Club and The Vaccines, the headline slot cements AFTERDRIVE’s status as the region’s most exciting musical export. After kicking off 2026 with a sold-out headline show at The Waterfront Studio, they hit the road supporting The Entitled Sons, followed by a massive UK and European tour supporting US pop-rock superstar Maggie Lindemann. These massive international stages have only sharpened the band’s explosive live performance, making their newly announced shows not to be missed.
With the Dress To Drive era officially underway, AFTERDRIVE are fast moving from “ones to watch” to an undeniable force in the UK pop-rock landscape.
