“Could Be Dancin” is a folk-pop track that blends modern pop with a touch of two-stepping country, creating a foot-tapping, feel-good sound. The song captures the magic of an instant connection when two strangers meet on a dance floor and the world fades away. It’s about living in the moment, embracing the unknown, and letting go of everyday worries to get lost in the music and the feeling. At its heart, it celebrates those rare moments of freedom and possibility, where a single dance becomes an unforgettable memory.
Johnluke: “I was happy and feeling so good when writing Could Be Dancin’. So, this song captures that feeling and sets out to just make you smile. Sets the tone for living in the moment – Weather your sitting at home sitting at home doing nothing, singing along in your car or out on the dancefloor. It was written with Anna Krantz, Richie McCourt, and Jaxson. I was nervous going into the session because I’d never worked with them before, but we clicked straight away. The chorus came effortlessly, and the happiness we felt in that moment found its way into the song, which helped bring it to life.”
