Reevah Shares – Introspective New Single ‘The Hardest Part’

NI Music Prize-nominated indie-pop artist Reevah has released her introspective new single ‘The Hardest Part’  via Bloom Records (FACTION MUSIC).

New single ‘The Hardest Part’ explores an ethos that Reevah has held at her core since the beginning: The importance of staying true to yourself and what you believe in. She explains:

“The Hardest Part is a reflection on my life, being an artist, spinning many plates and trying to keep them all in the air. It’s about surviving in an industry where 30 seconds of fame often seems more valuable than building a long, sustainable career. Being a woman and a mother in this industry is incredibly difficult, and I think there’s always that question in the back of my mind. How much longer can I do this? Who am I doing this for?”

Reflecting on the realities of balancing artistry, motherhood and the demands of an industry increasingly driven by social media and instant success, Reevah describes the single as an affirmation of staying connected to the reason she makes music in the first place:

“I do this because I love it. I write and make music in the hope that it will resonate with someone, somewhere. And that’s really what music and songwriting should be about.”

With central themes of growth, change and resilience in the face of adversity, Reevah spotlights the universal pull of her songwriting as she continues to tease a country-pop tinted direction, drawing inspiration from artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Olivia Dean, Role Model and CMAT.

“This single has been one of my favorites to create: The instrumentation, the pace, and the overall style. It blends country and pop influences with a bit of old school Reevah songwriter sensibilities, creating something that feels hopeful, honest and a window into where I am as an artist.”

A compelling balance of solace and strength, Reevah channels resilience and feminine strength into a sound that burrows deep into the heart and soul.
