Currently bringing their pioneering sound to audiences worldwide on the ‘Celebrating Life Through Death‘ farewell tour, the question has arisen: how should SEPULTURA mark the end of such a monumental journey? The answer came naturally: By capturing a final creative moment and preserving it for posterity.
Today, SEPULTURA have released their final recorded music, The Cloud of Unknowing EP, available today via Nuclear Blast Records.
Vocalist Derrick Green stated about the album’s focus track ‘All Souls Rising‘:
“The core idea for the track was inspired by a book by Madison Smartt Bell about the slave rebellion in 1780’s Haiti. On a broader level, it speaks to what’s happening in society today – how much can be changed when we come together beyond race, religion, and politics. It’s also about the changes we can make within ourselves.”
