Shiiine On Weekender – announces 11th edition with largest lineup to date 

The Shiiine On Weekender returns to Minehead this November, marking its 11th year with the most extensive and ambitious programme in its history.

Set across a full weekend of live music, DJ sets, comedy, exhibits and special events, the 2026 edition promises an unforgettable celebration of indie, dance and alternative culture. This year’s lineup welcomes the return of Happy Mondays, bringing their iconic swagger to the Main Stage alongside Inspiral CarpetsThe Farm, and The Soup Dragons.

Saturday night sees Feeder headline the Main Stage, with The Twang making a long-awaited return to Minehead—having been the festival’s very first Thursday headliner back in 2015. And as if that wasn’t enough, the Weekender, 2026 also reunites the legendary Stourbridge trioThe Wonder StuffNed’s Atomic Dustbin, and Pop Will Eat Itself, with PWEI performing a special PWEI.40 anniversary set celebrating 40 years of pioneering innovation.

HardFi make their long-awaited Shiiine debut with their arena-filling anthems. The Wannadies will bringing pure indiepop joy and Chapterhouse join the bill delivering swirling shoegaze. Dubstar reunite to perform with their elegant melodies and we expect a blistering set from The Ordinary Boys.

Festival favourites will also be returning, including The Bluetones, who will perform Expecting to Fly in full, along with The Wedding PresentDub Pistols, The Boo RadleysThe Clone Roses, and many more across the weekend.

The festival’s renowned late-night dance programme also returns, featuring KKlass who take to the stage for a special live set, Utah Saints bring their high-octane brilliance and 808 State deliver an electronic heritage DJ set. There will also be a Dreadzone DJ set from Greg Dread himself on Friday night.

This year also introduces a number of new stages and curated experiences: An Afternoon With Jim Bob, a handpicked stage curated by the Carter USM icon, featuring performances by InterrobangWreckless Eric, plus a special DJ set and talk from Jim Bob himself. Shiine On Unplugged, a new acoustic stage showcasing intimate sets from Badly Drawn BoyBen Ottewell (Gomez)Ian Prowse (Pele), and The Real People.

The comedy stage, hosted by Dom Joly, presents the 25th Anniversary live show of Trigger Happy TV. Expect classic characters including: The Giant Snail, The Traffic Warden, The Morris Dancer, and the unforgettable giant mobile phone—brought to life in a twopart, highenergy performance.

Beloved artist Pete McKee returns with a brand-new exhibition, The Boy With a Leg Named Brian—an immersive journey through his 1970s childhood. The exhibition is accompanied by a special live set from the always popular Everly Pregnant Brothers.
