Dermot Kennedy – live gallery and review from 3Olympia Dublin 23.09.2025

Back on home soil, Dermot Kennedy returned to the 3Olympia for two incredibly intimate shows as part of his A Promised Return tour and what unfolded was nothing short of magic.

From the moment he stepped onto the stage, the atmosphere shifted. The silence of the crowd was breathtaking thousands of people hanging on every lyric, every pause, every word he spoke. You could hear a pin drop during his songs, a level of reverence rarely felt at live shows. And then, when he asked the audience to join in, the room transformed the entire venue shook as fans of all ages, from children experiencing their first concert to die-hard followers who never miss a show, sang their hearts out in unison.

The setlist was a perfect balance of familiarity and surprise. Beloved hits like Power Over Me and Better Days filled the room with emotion, while unreleased songs Endless and Often, Lately were welcomed with overwhelming love, a clear sign of just how deeply his fans trust and connect with his music.

Opening the night was Grace Enger, whose beautiful acoustic set set the perfect tone, easing the crowd into an evening defined by raw honesty and soul.
