Pixies / The Pale White – 3Olympia, Dublin 08.03.2024

Pixies announced sometime back that they were going to go on the road with a three nights, five cities residential tour. The five cities being Dublin / Manchester / London / Amsterdam / Paris with the tour starting off respectively. The whole fifteen dates sold-out in no time at all. The shows are to consist of the band for the first time ever-playing in full the albums ‘Bossanova‘ and ‘Trompe Le Monde‘ in there also a few other classics for good measure. Ultimately making these shows a must for any Pixies fan and a reason why they sold-out so quickly.
Judging by the first Dublin show fans are in for an amazing night if you managed to get a ticket as the bands set time comes in at just under two hours and as always its all about the music with very little chat for Frank Black, AKA Black Francis.
Opening band for the tour is three piece indie rock band from Newcastle The Pale White and if you have not seen these guys before, do yourself a favour and get in early to see them.
