Wyatt Flores played a acoustic set, ready and willing to share his music with Dublin after a 5 hour post jet lag nap! inviting up 13 year Rodrigo on stage for a song who had travelled from Spain with this Dad to see the show.
The humour during songs about being dead that kept the crowd engaged, the front row seemed to be in their happy place for the night. And a Jason Isbell cover always goes down well in Dublin.
I first saw 49 Winchester supporting Luke Combs in Belfast 2023. This was the bands first stop on the Holler Bus tour at the 3Olympia Dublin.
Their Appalachian country soul made for a high energy set with lots of crowd pleasers from the last album opening with ”Long Hard Life” to closing with what definitely wont be a “Last Call” in Dublin.
Their brought a guest on stage to perform one of their songs, to the delight of the audience and the close friends sharing one of the stage boxes.
Guitars and Bass all running through Fender Tone master pro Modellers with no amps on stage, the sound was very polished leading to clockwork instruments changes and a flowing setlist allowing the band to keep a consistent sound across different venues on the tour and tonight was no different.
