When We Were Wolves have re-emerged from their den after a long hibernation, and they’ve come armed with a fantastic new single!
Hate Yourself Out is the first new music from the Welsh metalcore outfit in seven years; full of vocal hooks and some BIG riffs, it’s the kind of statement track that made When We Were Wolves rising stars of the UK metalcore scene before their break. They’re back with a new line up, and the desire for success and to bring their music to as many people as possible is bigger than ever.
Vocalist Mitch Bock, has to say on the single.
“The song is about my mental health struggles and how important the support of other people around me has been. Being open when you’re struggling is key I think which is where the lyric “and I’ll always show that I’m struggling”. Telling someone you’re going through a bad time seems to have such a negative stigma around it when in reality it’s a very positive thing.”
When We Were Wolves are getting back in the live arena this May by going on tour with their Down For Life Music management stablemates Crushed By Waves. “WWWW” will be main support for Crushed By Waves on their seven date run across England and Wales throughout the middle of May, concluding with a show in their Welsh homeland on the 18th of May in Newport. The tour also includes Glass Grave (first three shows) and Within Reach (last four shows) as openers. Full details of the tour can be found below.
