Wet Leg / Cruel Sister – live gallery and review from Trinity Summer Series, Trinity College Dublin 01.07.2026

Trinity College played host to one of the most anticipated shows of the Trinity Summer Series as indie rock favourites Wet Leg arrived in Dublin on their Moisturizer tour. Supported by rising act Cruel Sister, the sold-out crowd were treated to an evening that proved great live music can outshine even the rain.

Cruel Sister set the tone perfectly, delivering a confident and energetic opening performance that quickly won over the early arrivals. Their blend of driving guitars, infectious melodies and assured stage presence made them an ideal choice to warm up the audience before the night’s main event.

Wet Leg took to the stage and wasted no time getting the crowd moving, opening with the explosive “Catch These Fists.” From the very first note, the band’s trademark mix of sharp humour, infectious hooks and raw indie energy had the audience fully engaged.

Not long into the set, the inevitable Irish weather arrived as rain began to pour over Trinity College. Far from dampening the atmosphere, however, the rain seemed to bring everyone closer together. Thousands of fans embraced the moment, singing every lyric back to the band while dancing through the rain, creating one of those memorable concert experiences that only live music can deliver.

Across an impressive 18-song set, Wet Leg showcased material spanning their catalogue. Fan favourites including “Wet Dream,” “Being in Love,” “Davina McCall,” and “Too Late Now” were met with huge cheers, each song highlighting the band’s ability to balance catchy, playful songwriting with powerful live performances. Their chemistry on stage was evident throughout, with the band feeding off the audience’s energy despite the increasingly wet conditions.

As the night reached its climax, the unmistakable opening of “Chaise Longue” sent the crowd into one final frenzy. One of the band’s signature songs, it sparked the loudest singalong of the evening and provided the perfect finish to an unforgettable performance.

Wet Leg’s stop at Trinity College was everything fans could have hoped for, energetic, entertaining and full of personality. The rain may have soaked everyone in attendance, but it never threatened the mood. Instead, it became part of the story, adding another layer to a concert that will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the highlights of this year’s Trinity Summer Series.
