This December, the internationally acclaimed violinist brings Vladimir’s Viennese Christmas back to the Convention Centre Dublin for one special afternoon, promising a beautifully intimate yet spectacular performance filled with music, family and festive tradition on 19th December 2026.
Internationally acclaimed violinist Vladimir Jablokov returns this December with his much-loved Viennese Christmas, bringing a spectacular yet intimate performance to Dublin’s Convention Centre for one special afternoon.
Having moved to Ireland in 2004, Vladimir famously began his journey busking on the streets of Dublin, going on to become one of the country’s most successful classical artists and headlining Dublin’s 3Arena on multiple occasions.
Vladimir’s Viennese Christmas began humbly in 2008 with just a handful of musicians. Within a year, he reunited his musically gifted family, The Jablokovs, who travelled from Slovakia to Ireland, creating a unique family-centred production that has grown year on year in scale and popularity.
The show has evolved into one of Dublin’s most in-demand Christmas events, having played to tens of thousands of people and culminating in large-scale arena performances featuring over 150 performers on stage.
At its heart, however, the magic of Viennese Christmas remains deeply personal. A celebration of music, family and tradition.
Renowned for his electrifying and emotionally charged performances, Vladimir blends classical virtuosity with warmth, storytelling and connection. His signature style brings a festive glow to timeless classical works alongside beloved seasonal favourites, creating an atmosphere that is both grand and intimate.
This year’s performance at the Convention Centre Dublin offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience the show in a more intimate setting – a beautifully crafted afternoon of music featuring live orchestra, choir, special guest vocalists and the unmistakable presence of the Jablokov family on stage.
