The final night of Violet Grohl’s Be Sweet To Me tour was always going to be a special occasion and a sold out crowd at The Academy Green Room on 11 October 2026 made sure it was one to remember.
Opening the show was Bekah Bossard, who did a fantastic job of warming up the room and getting the audience in the mood for what was to come. With the crowd growing increasingly eager for the headline act, Bossard set the tone for an evening that promised plenty of energy, great music and memorable moments.
When Violet Grohl finally took to the stage, she wasted little time getting things underway, opening with ‘Stimulant Breakfast’ and immediately setting the pace for the night. From there, she delivered a fantastic set packed with highlights, including ‘THUM’, ‘Pool Of My Dreams’, ‘Swallowtail’ and ‘Sun Is Blind’, among others.
There was a real sense of occasion in the room. As the final stop on the Be Sweet To Me tour, the performance carried that extra bit of significance, with the sold out audience clearly delighted to be part of the experience. Grohl kept the momentum going throughout, delivering a set that showcased her talent and gave fans plenty to enjoy.
One particularly touching moment came when Grohl dedicated a song to her grandmother. It was a lovely personal touch that added an extra layer of warmth to an already memorable evening. But which song was it? I’ll let you all have a guess!
With Bossard delivering a strong opening performance and Grohl bringing the tour to a close in style, the night was a fitting celebration of the music and the journey that had brought the tour to this final show.
A packed Green Room, a set full of standout tracks and a heartfelt dedication made for a winning combination. If this final night was anything to go by, Violet Grohl certainly gave her Dublin fans plenty to remember.
A sold-out show, a fantastic set and a fitting farewell to the Be Sweet To Me tour. What more could you ask for?
