Truthpaste today share new single ‘Bus Song’ – out now on Dirty Hit & Memorials Of Distinction (caroline, Grove, Naima Bock). Truthpaste are a band of five multi-instrumentalists and a trusty computer drum, blending pop, acoustic folk, and electronic music. Last year they released their debut single ‘See You Around’ – a song dubbed by Steve Lamacq as “One of his favourite debut singles of 2025“. Subsequent single ‘Bleary Eyes’ cemented the band as one of the most striking and hotly-tipped new acts of 2025. The band will embark on a UK headline tour in May, which includes a date at The Lexington, London.
On the new single, Bus Song, the band say –
“Bus song is our emo rock song. It’s another side to Truthpaste that its time people heard outside our live set. We don’t stick to one thing, if it sounds good we’ll do it.” – Esme
“This song was knocking around my head for a couple of weeks, it wasn’t until we got together as a band and decided to make it a duet that it really started to feel like it has come to be” – Euan
The band’s two prior singles – both released on Memorials of Distinction – sold out their vinyl run. Each single gained strong DSP streaming momentum and radio support from the likes of Riley & Coe, Steve Lamacq and Jess Iszatt.
