About the song “Split The Difference”:
“In this global hellscape we occupy, it’s never been easier to find willing sycophants to pacify your delusions. In your day to day existence, it’s easier to split the difference with opponents and find common ground but what happens when you abandon all of your principles and waste away to nothing due to your compromises?”
Formed in 2014, Red Deer, Alberta’ s Trashed Ambulance has braved numerous member changes, overcome hangovers, and weathered the storm of COVID cancellations, solidifying their status as a formidable presence in the Western Canadian punk scene. Their journey has been marked by a series of EPs, LPs, CDs, and cassettes, showcasing their relentless dedication to their craft.
The trio converged at Echo Base Studio in Calgary to collaborate with Casey Lewis (Belvedere) for their latest album, “Future Considerations.” This release hit the shelves on July 8, 2022, courtesy of Thousand Islands Records, captivating fans with its compelling blend of punk intensity and musical prowess, available in both CD and Vinyl formats.
Trashed Ambulance’s live performances have seen them share the stage with punk juggernauts such as Face to Face, Lagwagon, Pup, Mad Caddies, Teenage Bottlerocket, No Trigger, Good Riddance, Ignite, Brutal Youth, and Ten Foot Pole. The band also left their mark on the renowned Pouzza Fest, Montreal’s premier annual punk festival.
