Tori Amos brought her In Time Of Dragons tour to a sold-out, seated crowd at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre Dublin on the 19th of April, delivering a performance that balanced intimacy with quiet intensity. Opening the evening was Isaac Levi, whose understated set warmed the audience with a blend of delicate vocals and thoughtful songwriting, setting a fitting tone for what followed.

Amos took the stage alongside her longtime collaborators, bassist Jon Evans and drummer Ash Soan, as well as backing vocalists Liv Gibson, Deni Hlavinka, and Hadley Kennary. From the outset, there was a sense of cohesion and trust between the performers, allowing the music to ebb and flow naturally.

Across a 15-song set, Amos treated the audiance to songs like “Shush,” “Your Cloud,” “Black-Dove (January),” and “Crucify,” each delivered with a renewed emotional depth. Her voice, both fragile and commanding, carried effortlessly through the theatre, while her piano work remained as intricate and expressive as ever. A standout moment came with her cover of Poison & Wine by The Civil Wars, which she reinterpreted with a haunting tenderness that held the room in near silence.
