TOMORA / Oxis – live gallery and review from The National Stadium, Dublin 24.10.2026

Tomora Ignite The National Stadium With A Theatrical Electronica Spectacle

How could anyone go wrong with the pairing of Tom Rowlands and Aurora? As electronic music supergroup duo TOMORA, the combination of The Chemical Brothers’ sonic wizardry and Aurora’s otherworldly vocals was always destined to work in the world of electronica.

From the moment the lights dropped, The National Stadium was transformed into a pulsating playground of sound and vision. If the stage wasn’t bathed in a blazing sea of red, it was exploding with brilliant white strobes, creating an intense visual backdrop to the duo’s electronic soundscapes.

Aurora was a captivating presence throughout, her ethereal voice cutting through the pounding beats and intricate layers of synths. Joined on stage by Amalie Holt Kleive, the live performance took on an even greater theatrical dimension, with the staging, lighting and movement combining to create something far more immersive than a conventional electronic gig.

TOMORA’s strength lies in the contrast between Rowlands’ driving, meticulously crafted electronic rhythms and Aurora’s haunting, almost celestial vocals. Together, they strike a balance between dancefloor intensity and emotional vulnerability, keeping the audience engaged as the music shifted between euphoric peaks and more atmospheric passages.

Opening the evening, ambient-pop act Oxis brought a different energy to the bill, offering a more understated introduction to the night. Their distinctive, fish-loving persona added a touch of individuality before the main event took over.

By the end, TOMORA had delivered a visually spectacular and sonically compelling performance. This was electronica as theatre, immersive, unpredictable and utterly absorbing. Rowlands and Aurora make a formidable partnership, and Dublin witnessed a collaboration that feels both adventurous and entirely natural.
