Award-winning sister duo Tigirlily Gold are laying down the rules on their new track “I Do Or Die,” out now.
“‘I Do Or Die’ is a song that intertwines all the things we love most about country music – the fun, the sass, the fiddle, the harmonies, the energy,” shared members Kendra Olson and Krista Slaubaugh. “We grew up on songs by confident women like The Chicks, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, and Miranda Lambert who made it clear that while it’s great to fiddle around with a fun lyric and punchy production, there’s no fiddling around when it comes to a relationship.”
With whip-smart lyrics about what could happen to a straying spouse, Tigirlily Gold co-wrote the track with Willie Morrison and Jess Grommet. It follows their most recent release, “Country & Midwestern,” an ode to their North Dakota roots, which MusicRow lauded as “essential listening.”
Tigirlily Gold has been on the road throughout 2026 with artists including Scotty McCreery in addition to headlining shows. They are set to join Carly Pearce on her INSIDE THE DREAM TOUR with shows in the U.K. and Ireland.
About Tigirlily Gold: Sisters Kendra Olson and Krista Slaubaugh have been playing music together since they could walk and officially formed Tigirlily Gold when they were still teens. They spent their high school years growing a fierce fan base in their home-state of North Dakota, and after moving to Nashville, TN, they cut their teeth by playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on the city’s famed lower Broadway. Their debut, full-length album, Blonde, was released in 2024, featuring top 40 radio single “Shoot Tequila,” along with follow-up, top 30 single, “I Tried A Ring On.” Tigirlily Gold has been nominated for two CMT Awards and two People’s Choice Country Awards, and won the 2024 ACM Award for New Duo of the Year, where they performed “I Tried A Ring On” during the show to a national audience. They have been featured in Billboard, American Songwriter, Vulture, and Forbes, performed on NBC’s “TODAY Show,” and have been named to MusicRow’s Next Big Thing and Opry NextStage classes of 2025. Their new songs, “Country & Midwestern” and “I Do Or Die,” are out now with new music expected throughout the year.
