Those Damn Crows – drop the new single “The Night Train” & announce headline tour

Premier league Welsh rock squad THOSE DAMN CROWS are just days away from finally dropping their highly anticipated fourth album, God Shaped Hole, due out April 11th via Earache Records.

Packed full of certified bangers, with huge choruses and evocative lyrics, the band have whipped out one more single from the LP to tide fans over. “The Night Train” is released today and includes a bit of everything that makes THOSE DAMN CROWS so great, from its beautiful melody and wistful inspiration to its enduring refrain.

Frontman Shane Greenhall has this to say about the song, “Having had an extremely powerful and vivid dream where I visited my Father, and relatives who have passed away, It really felt like I had travelled somewhere else, to a different time/place rather than a dream.

It inspired me to write The Night Train – the transport that takes you to your loved ones who are no longer with us. The train takes you to their new home where you’re temporarily invited and reunited with your loved ones for a short time, at the same time, every single night like a grieving Groundhog Day.

Your destination is one dream away.”

The single’s official video is more unusual for the group, as it is entirely animated. The band worked with noted animator Marco Pavone.

Shane comments, “I’ve always wanted an animated video to tell the story of a Crows song. ‘TNT’ was the perfect fit and song for doing so. When I storyboarded the idea to Marco (our animator) he absolutely nailed the brief. It almost feels like a bedtime story but the dream world is a place we visit every night. Imagination, manifestation is a gift and TNT is surely something we would all grab with both hands if we could get the chance to be with our loved ones again who have crossed.”

THOSE DAMN CROWS are also thrilled to announce ten UK headline shows in October 2025. Special guests are yet to be revealed.
