The Marches – have unveiled a double A side release

The Marches are a fearless all female rock four-piece hailing from the west of Scotland —rewriting Scotland’s pop-rock rulebook with grit, wit, and melody. Formed in early 2024, the band quickly carved out a space for themselves in the Scottish music scene, blending the raw edge of PJ Harvey with the melodic punch of Fleetwood Mac and the pop sensibility of Taylor Swift.

Their debut single “In Comes The Fear” dropped in July 2024, followed by “Talking Too Much”—a tongue-in-cheek anthem inspired by a real-life encounter with casual sexism on the gig circuit. Quickly earning airplay across BBC Radio Scotland and local stations, and their headline show at King Tut’s cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting new acts in the country.

In 2025, with the release of “Come Back around” they lit up the festival circuit with standout performances at Pavilion Festival, Prestfest, and Belladrum Festival, where they played both the Seedlings Stage and the intimate Tomatin Bothy Sessions with Netsounds. These slots placed them alongside major acts and rising stars, further amplifying their reach and solidifying their place in Scotland’s next wave of breakout talent.

With an independently run sold-out show at SWG3 The Poetry Club, The Marches are more than a band—they’re a movement. Their sound is timeless yet fresh, their lyrics unapologetically honest, and their presence on stage electric. Whether they’re calling out double standards or celebrating vulnerability, The Marches are here to make noise—and they’re just getting started.

The Marches return with a powerful Double A Side release, marking a pivotal moment in their sonic journey. The first single, “November”, landed digitally on 14th November 2025, followed by “Don’t Fool Me Twice” on 28th November. Both tracks will feature on a limited edition Double A Side vinyl, available November 28th 2025.

“November” is the closing chapter of a story The Marches have been telling — a raw, reflective track that captures the push and pull of a relationship teetering between harmony and dissonance. It explores the emotional fallout when a shared decision begins to unravel, leaving one person anchored and the other adrift. With its haunting melodies and lyrical vulnerability, “November” offers catharsis — a final breath before the band steps into new territory.

“Don’t Fool Me Twice” flips the page. Gritty, assertive, and forward-facing, it signals The Marches’ evolution as they carve out a bold new sound for 2026. 

Together, November and “Don’t Fool Me Twice” mark a turning point for The Marches—two sides of the same story, each stepping in a different direction. November lingers in the ache of uncertainty. “Don’t Fool Me Twice” answers with grit and clarity—a bold declaration of growth, boundaries, and sonic reinvention.
