The Fear – release debut single “White Noise”  feat. Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens) + soon to be on tour with Alien Ant Farm

Get acquainted with rock newcomers The Fear, for your own sake. Today, the Manchester-based band have released their blistering debut single “White Noise” featuring Kellin Quinn (of Sleeping With Sirens).

Ferocious, energetic and unrelenting, the first offering from The Fear is a definitive landmark. White Noise – co-produced by drummer Benj Ashmead and David Radahd-Jones (Amongst Liars, Cruel Knives) with additional production from Randy Slaugh (Architects, Sleeping With Sirens, Nothing More) – sees The Fear deliver a powerful crash course in rock resonance. Electronic sounds weave around dexterous guitar riffs, all against the formidable pace set by incredible percussion all kept at bay by complimentary vocals between Kellin Quinn and The Fear’s Micky Satiar. The Fear’s debut single arrives with a fast-paced music video featuring Quinn, and directed by Samuele Dean.

“White Noise is the perfect way to debut the band. As individuals we’d stepped away from music for many years, the song navigates the emptiness we had felt in that time.” says drummer Benj Ashmead. “It was actually one of the first demos I began writing and between us we’ve created something special. When Kellin heard it, he immediately wanted to get involved and really connected with the concept of the song. He’s added something totally fresh and unique that we wouldn’t have done without him, he’s also the nicest and easiest guy to work with!”

Speaking on the music video, vocalist Micky Satiar said “We’re so fucking excited to release the music video for our first single ‘White Noise,’ especially with Kellin joining us on the track. Having his unmistakable vocals and energy in the music video really took it to the next level. Cannot wait for everybody to finally hear what we’ve been cooking”

In addition to the storming debut released today, The Fear are set to join US rock heavyweights Alien Ant Farm and CKY on their almost sold-out co-headline tour which is set to kick off at Southampton’s 1865 on 10th November. The two acts made history earlier this year by becoming the first American acts to support Music Venue Trust by adding an optional £1 donation to support grassroots music venues on their UK dates.

Speaking on the upcoming tour dates, vocalist Micky Satiar says “This might be THE FEAR’s first tour, but we’re no strangers to the grind and we’re bringing these new tunes to the stage for the first time with Alien Ant Farm and CKY. It’s going to be fucking insane!! We’re ready to show the UK and Ireland exactly what we’re made of—this is just the beginning.”
