German folk metal greats SUBWAY TO SALLY present an acoustic version of their fan favourite “Kleid aus Rosen” (Engl. dress made of roses) today. The song serves as another preview of their upcoming, already partially sold-out acoustic tour NACKT III – Lügen & Legenden (Engl. Naked III – Lies & Legends). Originally released in 2001, “Kleid aus Rosen” remains an integral part of the band’s live set and holds a special place in fans’ hearts to this day.
As part of the band’s own concert series Eisheilige Nacht, fans recently caught their first glimpse of the intimate atmosphere that awaits them on the upcoming NACKT III tour at the end of 2025. Although SUBWAY TO SALLY performed there with full instrumental power, they already hinted at the acoustic nuances that will become a key element of the new special programme starting in March. A few weeks ago, the Potsdam-based band officially unveiled a NACKT III version of “Feuerkind” – the acoustic garb that now also adorns “Kleid aus Rosen”.
Both newly arranged tracks capture the fragile yet intense atmosphere of the NACKT concerts with striking authenticity. Moving between intimacy and tension, melancholy and eruptive emotion, the band reveals a side that powerfully underlines its extraordinary versatility – acoustically, emotionally, and visually. “Kleid aus Rosen (NACKT III version)” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
In 2006, SUBWAY TO SALLY laid the foundation for an extraordinary live experience with their first NACKT tour, which proved so popular that it returned for a second round four years later. Now, in 2026, the sextet will return with NACKT III – Lügen & Legenden. The first dates are already sold out. SUBWAY TO SALLY add:
“We delve deep into our history: from the quietest ballad to wild escalation, from bittersweet melancholy to unrestrained excess. What is true, what is invented, which lies have long since become legends? In an intimate atmosphere, close to you, an evening awaits us between living room and theatre stage, between poetry and pure joy of performance. Let us celebrate life – and perhaps be naked together one last time.”
