Street Dogs are teaming up with SBÄM Records to release their iconic album Back To The World on vinyl for the very first time! The Boston punk band, led by Mike McColgan (co-founder of Dropkick Murphys), played a major role in shaping international punk rock for 17 years before taking a break in 2020.
Originally released in January 2005, Back To The World was the band’s second album, produced by Nate Albert of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Featuring fan-favorites like “You Alone” and the title track “Back To The World,” the album became an instant classic. But who still owns the CD? Back in 2005, the CD was the go-to format, but with vinyl’s resurgence, fans have been clamoring for an LP version of this beloved album. Now, thanks to SBÄM Records, they’re finally getting it!
To make this reissue even more exciting, the vinyl edition will include an exclusive new song—a true punk comeback. The LP will drop in January 2025, and it’s already available for pre-order on store.sbam.rocks. The splatter edition has already sold out, so don’t wait too long to grab your copy!
