SHINEDOWN have released an intimate new acoustic rendition of their hit single “Three Six Five,”
“Three Six Five” features deeply personal lyrics co-written by the band’s Brent Smith and Eric Bass, inspired by profound loss experienced by both artists. In this stripped back, acoustic arrangement, the raw emotion surrounding grief and bereavement at the song’s core is laid bare. The track forges a powerful connection with audiences – especially when performed live.
Fans in London recently experienced this vulnerability in its purest form when Brent Smith and Zach Myers performed “Three Six Five” at their sold-out, acoustic underplay at Islington’s Assembly Hall. The performance showcased SHINEDOWN’s unwavering authenticity, sparking an outpouring of emotion from fans across social media. Just days earlier, the band’s electric, show-stopping set at Download Festival proved that even in a full-throttle, high-octane setting, “Three Six Five” could cut straight to the heart and move thousands to tears. It was a powerful reminder of the deep, unbreakable bond SHINEDOWN share with their audience, no matter the stage or setting.
“Three Six Five” continues to rocket up the US radio charts. Currently being played across five different formats, the song has just crashed into the national Top 40 chart at #27 and is still climbing.
