17 years on from their standout debut album, Scouting for Girls hit The Academy in Dublin on Saturday night for a sold out gig.
The English band played a great mix of their new and old material encouraging the crowd to sing along. Since many of their big hits were released in the late 2000s, the gig attracted fans who grew up with their music. The set list tapped into a sense of nostalgia, with their upbeat pop-rock sound, evoking memories of the late 2000s and early 2010s.
The frontman, Roy Stride kept the crowd laughing with his jokes and stories between songs which gave the whole night an energetic yet intimate experience that was hard to beat.
Finishing up on the iconic ‘She’s so Lovely’, the crowd left on a high!
