Sack – announce headline show at Whelan’s, Dublin

Sack are delighted to be back in Whelan’s for their vinyl album launch party on Saturday February 8th. The gig will also celebrate the release of their latest single, ‘Tides Out’, from their acclaimed new album Wake Up People!

They will have their full range of Vinyl, CD & wearable merch on sale at the show. It’s also a band member’s birthday so there will be cake!

The new album marks Sack’s first full-length release of new material since 2001’s Adventura Majestica. Recorded at Dublin’s Sonic Studio with John Murphy and Ber Quinn, Wake Up People introduces fresh energy to the band with new members Gavin Fox (Idlewild, Turn) and Tony Barrett (The Brilliant Trees) joining original members Martin McCann, John Brereton, and Tony Brereton.
