NI Music Prize-nominated artist Reevah has released new single ‘I’m Just Fine’ via Bloom Records (FACTION MUSIC).
The single arrives with the announcement of her highly anticipated sophomore album, Lucky Stars, releasing February 26th 2027.
2026 has been a standout year for the Derry artist: ‘I’m Just Fine’ and one other unreleased song landed sync placements on the latest season of Love Island (UK); a support slot for The Coronas on back-to-back sold-out shows in her hometown; and extensive praise across national media for singles ‘Take What You Can’, ‘The Hardest Part’ and ‘Talk Too Much’ including RTÉ Radio 1, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Introducing, RTÉ 2FM, Today FM, Hot Press, Chordblossom, The Belfast Telegraph, Sunday Life, GoldenPlec and more.
‘Take What You Can’ was also recently longlisted for Single of the Year at the NI Music Prize, solidifying the growing excitement for her second LP.
Lucky Stars is Reevah’s rawest, most reflective work to date. The record was born during heartbreaking circumstances; the day after she performed to a sold-out audience at Ulster Hall for her NI Music Prize nominated debut album, her mum – her closest confidante and lifelong role model – was diagnosed with illness.
A whirlwind 48 hours of success and shock, Lucky Stars navigates life when it’s flipped upside down, and at its heart, encourages you to be unapologetically yourself amidst life’s uncertainties.
‘I’m Just Fine’ is the fourth single to be taken from the forthcoming album. On the song, Reevah explains:
“I wrote this track about the journey of losing and finding yourself: questioning the life you’re living, the passing of time, and whether the path you’re on is really the right one for you.”
The song is also rooted in the idea of home, and that it may not be a fixed place or something another person can create for you, but something you make and carry with you.
Beneath it all is a quiet strength: reflection, resilience, and the grace to see how far you’ve come. Ultimately, ‘I’m Just Fine’ is a reminder that it’s never too late to change your path.
A standout element of the song is the presence of the saxophone, which features across the album. Reevah notes:
“The addition of saxophone adds a whole new dynamic, bringing energy and a real sense of nostalgia. It’s an exciting feature that comes back throughout the album.”
With ‘I’m Just Fine’, Reevah continues to open up the world of Lucky Stars, a record about uncertainty, resilience, identity and finding your way back to yourself.
