Reevah – Shares Lovestruck New Single ‘Talk Too Much’

Reevah has released her new single ‘Talk Too Much’ via Bloom Records (FACTION MUSIC).

2026 has been a standout year for the Derry artist: Two unreleased songs landing sync placements on the latest season of Love Island (UK); an upcoming two-night support slot opening for The Coronas on September 19th and 20th in her hometown; and extensive praise across national media for singles ‘Take What You Can’ and ‘The Hardest Part’, including RTÉ Radio 1, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Introducing, RTÉ 2FM, Today FM, Hot Press, Chordblossom, The Belfast Telegraph, Sunday Life, and more.

Her third single of 2026, Reevah continues in a warm, introspective soft-pop vein with new single ‘Talk Too Much’ – a track that balances humour with vulnerability as it explores the excitement that comes with opening yourself up to someone or something new, while questioning whether they feel the same.

She explains:

“The line ‘It was like a storybook I’d already read’ alludes to the predictability we sometimes find in people’s actions, in relationships and in life. It’s about that feeling of recognising familiar patterns but choosing to take the chance anyway, while still trying to protect yourself.”

Touching on how to arrive at a place in adulthood where you’re authentically yourself, the release emphasises how knowing who you are gives you the confidence to trust your instincts, even when you’re navigating uncertainty – reflecting Reevah’s core themes of growth, self-discovery, and authenticity that resonate across her latest work.

Reevah says: 

“I suppose this release it’s a bit of a love song, but it’s also about relationships, predictability, and resolution. It’s about being caught between certainty and uncertainty, questioning your decisions, and figuring out what the right next step is for you. I wanted this track to feel fun, light-hearted, and slightly tongue-in-cheek, despite the themes it explores.”

With references to star-crossed lovers, taking chances and rolling the dice, the song captures that exciting, overwhelming feeling at the beginning of a relationship: Being completely head over heels, but also acknowledging the awareness that comes with past experiences.

Featuring co-producers Brian Doherty on bass and guitar and Matt Weir on drums, musically the track brings together Reevah’s familiar singer-songwriter sensibilities with a bright, melodic indie-pop sound, as she cites influences including Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and CMAT.

‘Talk Too Much’ sees Reevah continue to lean into a country-pop direction that has been teased across her latest offerings, all while keeping the honest, emotionally-driven songwriting that has become synonymous with her work to the fore.
