Reef – release 2025 version of their hit single ‘Naked’

Somerset rockers REEF have released a brand new recording of the band’s second-ever hit single ‘Naked’ in celebration of their debut hit album Replenish which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
 
Frontman and singer Gary Stringer says, “We were in the studio recording and Jack suggested that we record ‘Naked’ with our current lineup  (Luke Bullen – drums & Amy Newton – guitar/vocals) as it had been sounding so good live. George Perks who engineered the session then mixed it and we thought it would be cool to put it out ahead of the tour.
 
Our old friend photographer Chris Lopez shot some footage at a festival we played a few weeks back and Andy Pilkington at Very Metal Art then had some fun with the footage and made the below visual.”

The track will be released on Raging Sea Records to coincide with the band’s Replenish UK tour which starts next week.

Also as part of the hit album’s anniversary Sony Records are releasing limited edition copies of Replenish specially repackaged on transparent vinyl which will also coincides with this year’s National Album day. The album is available to preorder here.
 
Ahead of REEF’s shows in both Liverpool on Oct 31st and Leeds on Nov 6th the band will be stopping off at local record stores Crash (Leeds) & Jacaranda (Liverpool) to sign copies of Replenish too. Advance tickets for both signings are available from the record stores online.
 
Meanwhile the Replenish tour kicks off at Nottingham Rock City on Oct 16th with support from Ireland’s Kerbdog who support the band on the majority of their dates with Ben Ottewell from Gomez also joining the band as special guest for the shows in Manchester and Liverpool.
