A show of two half’s, one have New Order and one half Joy Division all played by Peter Hook and the Light and of-course Peter Hook being from both bands.
The night was a sellout in the 3Olympia well it was always going to be with these two album on the set-list.
It was clear to see that Peter and the band were enjoying the night as it progressed because it just got better and better as it went on and there was the odd emotional moment from Peter himself, which actually made me wonder what it must be like to be playing such a back catalogue and what memories must come flooding back.
Being more a Joy Division fan myself I will say that the second half of the night was the strongest (for me), but that takes nothing away from the first set of the night, just that New Order never really done it for me as was never that big on Synth-pop, Give me the doom and gloom of Joy Division any day of the week.
