Paul Sherry – unveils music video for album title track ‘Peace In Mind’

Title track ‘Peace In Mind’ was inspired by American writer, speaker, and self-styled ‘philosophical entertainer’ Alan Watts, an individual known for his interpretation and popularising of Buddhist, Taoist, and Hindu philosophy for a Western audience.

A deeply spiritualistic artist, Sherry became inspired by one particular teaching noted by Watts:“True serenity is found by merging with the flow of existence rather then fighting it

Sherry explains, “‘Peace In Mind’ is song about how everyday we can really flow creatively and emotionally, or struggle. As we all walk our own paths in life, we are all just trying to find peace in mind wherever we can.”

‘Peace In Mind”s music video was filmed and edited by Brendan McElroy (Pixil Media) on location in County Monaghan.

Bathed in haze, the video reflects the quiet, deeply human search for inner peace.

An award-winning guitar player since the age of sixteen, Paul Sherry is an esteemed presence in the Irish rock ‘n’ roll scene.

Paul Sherry is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose work bridges old-school rock authenticity with modern depth and intention. A recognised force on the Irish rock ’n’ roll scene since the age of sixteen, Sherry combines rich guitar technicality, rugged vocal delivery, and thoughtful songwriting to carve a powerful sound.

Best known as lead guitarist with the award-winning Gráinne Duffy Band, Sherry is also a full-time touring solo artist, session musician, and educator. His career is marked by high-calibre collaborations with an impressive list of international artists, including Marc Ford (The Black Crowes), Dale Davis (Amy Winehouse), Arron Sterling (John Mayer, Post Malone), Jorgen Carlsson (Gov’t Mule), Kenny Aronoff (Smashing Pumpkins) and Justin Stanley (Beck) – a testament to his versatility and respected presence in the industry.

Sherry’s latest album, Peace In Mind, is a rock and roots journey that balances introspection with fire. The record recently earned a glowing 4 stars from RnR Magazine, alongside back-to-back No.1 singles on the UK’s Future Hits Top 40 Radio, further cementing his reputation as a compelling recording artist.

Renowned for his minimalist yet powerful guitar setup and tone-first philosophy, Sherry draws inspiration from blues legends and classic rock heroes while maintaining a sound that is distinctly his own, focused on feel, dynamics, and expression. His live performances reflect this ethos: raw, energetic, and deeply engaging.
