Panorama House (Finlay Sharpe) – releases the single ”Cold Confusion” you can read our review here

Panorama House, the psychedelic rock project helmed by Finlay Sharpe, dives headfirst into emotional turmoil on new single ”Cold Confusion”. Drawing influence from the swirling experimentation of Cream and Jimi Hendrix while embracing the modern psych textures of Tame Impala, the track balances vintage rock swagger with an introspective indie edge. There are even flashes of the thunderous intensity associated with Led Zeppelin woven throughout its dense instrumental layers.

Built around hazy guitar lines, pulsing bass grooves, and hypnotic rhythms, ”Cold Confusion” captures the sensation of being trapped inside your own thoughts. The production feels intentionally disorientating at times, mirroring the song’s central theme, the inability to fully understand or control one’s emotions. Rather than offering clarity, Panorama House leans into uncertainty, allowing the track’s swirling instrumentation and echo-drenched vocals to embody the push and pull between instinct and logic.

Lyrically, the single unfolds as a quiet cry for help, exploring the exhausting struggle of navigating inner desires while attempting to remain grounded in reason. Finlay Sharpe delivers these themes with conviction, giving the song a raw emotional undercurrent beneath its psychedelic exterior. The result is a track that feels both deeply personal and sonically expansive.

With ”Cold Confusion”, Panorama House successfully bridges classic psychedelic rock traditions with a fresh indie sensibility, crafting a single that is immersive, emotionally charged, and impossible to ignore.
